The Daddy of the Rolex sports line…

The reference 6202 is something of an icon in vintage Rolex and is considered to be the Pre-Submariner and the earliest watch in the important lineage of rotating-bezel Rolex sports watches.

This example remains in very original condition with the original gilt dial that has the very rare red line of text for the depth rating. The case is superb and remains strong all round, with the super cool rounded case back like a Bubbleback.
This stunning and important Rolex has the all-important original bezel insert with red triangle. Many of these were lost at service, as were the gilt dials so an original example such as this is a rare watch and a great and important addition to any Rolex sports watch collection.
The riveted Oyster bracelet reference 7206 has a clasp stamped ‘1 68’ and is in very fine condition and features the correct 80 endlinks. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
